"Forever's Too Long" Book Trailer...

These days, books as well as movies are often advertised with trailers that use images and sound to give you an idea of the flavor of the book, as well as sharing information about genre, storyline, and availability. Allan Krummenacker was a huge help with this, doing the actual production based on music and images I chose, and a few finds of his own, but I especially like his vocal work-- since the book is almost entirely first person narration, I decided to script the trailer that way, so he's giving the voice of Rafael Jones. *And remember the book will be available on June 1st, but you can still Pre-Order an e-copy at the following links: Nook: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/forevers-too-long-helen-krummenacker/1131555250?ean=2940163217083 Amazon:   https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RSGKTDF AmazonUK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07RSGKTDF AmazonCA: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07RSGKTDF AmazonAU: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07RSGKTDF Smashwords: ht...

Halloween Starts Today With The Release of "The Vampyre Blogs - Coming Home"

Image
Welcome to "The Vampyre Blogs - Coming Home".  My name is Nathaniel Eoghan Steward, and I hope you'll be as pleased to meet me and my friends as we are to meet you...   After two long years of brainstorming, writing, re-writing, editing, and planning Helen and I are proud to present to you all our first collaboration: "The Vampyre Blogs - Coming Home". Those who've been following my other blog ( http://thevampyreblogs.blogspot.com/ ) for the last two years will be familiar with Nathan and some of the other characters who appear in this novel, but for those who are not here's a synopsis:  In 1861 sixteen year old Nathan Steward joined the 7th West Virginia Volunteer Infantry Regiment to help end slavery and preserve the Union.  Before he left home, Nathan promised his sister Isabella that he would not let the war change him... he was wrong. While serving in the Union Army, Nathan found himself fighting on many battlefields.  But his tou...

'The Vampyre Blogs - Coming Home" will be released on October 28th! That's right folks.  Halloween will be arriving a few days early this year, so get ready to grab your own copy of the next installment of the Para-Earth Series.  The book will be available in Trade Paperback, Kindle, Nook, Apple, and all other e-readers. Within these pages of this novel you'll meet a whole new breed of vampire who drinks blood, needs to sleep in the ground, avoids sunlight (because he'll start to sparkle as in slowly spontaneously combusting), and cannot eat garlic. He's also one of the best people you'd ever want to have on your side in a bad situation. "My name is Nathaniel Eoghan Stewart, in the Spring of 1862 I joined the Union army to help end slavery and preserve our country. As I left, I promised my family I wouldn't let the war change me... but I was wrong, so very wrong..." Keep watching this page for more entries from some of the othe...

Possibly The Hardest Part About Publishing A Book Is...

Knowing when to release your book to the public Every writer, dreams about this day.  The moment your latest work is about to be unleashed.  You've worked long and hard for it and the day has finally come.  You've shed blood (preferably not someone esle's), sweat  (and boy didn't you look hot at that moment), and more than a few tears (I'm not even going to try and make a joke on this one, I know damn well I've shed more than few in frustration, or because I wrote a section that moved me enough to shed them).  So you're all set and ready for your book's release, but in the back of your mind you have to keep asking "Is my work truly ready to be released?"  Is it? In my case the answer was a resounding "NOT EVEN CLOSE!" So, as a result of this fact, I've decided not to release my next work "The Vampyre Blogs - Coming Home" until further notice. How and why did this happen?  The answer is simpl...

I Wish To Interrupt This Blog With An Important Question...

I've been having a tough time getting a completed 1st draft of "The Door" finished by the end of this summer as I originally planned.  The story is coming along very nicely, however I had planned on releasing it in late September/early October, which is becoming less and less likely. Furthermore, I had already planned on releasing "The Vampyre Blogs - Coming Home" in December to catch the holiday crowds.   So I would like to know how you would feel about a "Double-Release" in December? I have been hearing from a number of people who have been clamoring for one or both books, and I'm perfectly at ease with the idea of releasing both at or around the same time.   Furthermore, I want to let you all know that I've already got at least one other book lined up for the middle of next year, so you won't have to wait long for another installment.   Please leave your thoughts on this idea in the comment section below...

A Quick Update...

Image
NOTE: I already shared this post on "The Vampyre Blogs - Private Edition", but it seemed appropriate to share here as well, since I talk about what's been going on with me for the past 2 weeks.  There will be new posts about writing shortly.  Consider this one, a quick update about me...  Hello everyone, sorry for the slow updates recently.  I had planned on another post today, but life has a way of kind of being really getting in the way sometimes.  Especially when you're going back to college.  I started attending my first university this week.  Prior to that the past few weeks have been chaotic with my wife getting a new job.  She got her Bachelors Degree last spring at the same university where I'm going now.  She studied to become a high school math teacher.  This summer had been a rough one for us for several other reasons as well, including her taking special summer courses for her credential to be come a teacher. ...
