'The Vampyre Blogs - Coming Home" will be released on October 28th! That's right folks.  Halloween will be arriving a few days early this year, so get ready to grab your own copy of the next installment of the Para-Earth Series.  The book will be available in Trade Paperback, Kindle, Nook, Apple, and all other e-readers. Within these pages of this novel you'll meet a whole new breed of vampire who drinks blood, needs to sleep in the ground, avoids sunlight (because he'll start to sparkle as in slowly spontaneously combusting), and cannot eat garlic. He's also one of the best people you'd ever want to have on your side in a bad situation. "My name is Nathaniel Eoghan Stewart, in the Spring of 1862 I joined the Union army to help end slavery and preserve our country. As I left, I promised my family I wouldn't let the war change me... but I was wrong, so very wrong..." Keep watching this page for more entries from some of the othe...

****ANOTHER 5 Star Review for "THE SHIP****

Image
A PAGE TURNER   5.0 out of 5 stars ByJohn Maberryon December 5, 2015 Format: Kindle EditionVerified A good follow up to The Bridge , also by this author. A little slow and moderately confusing at the start with a "Family History" that functions as a prologue but isn't 100% tied into the rest of the story. But other than that it moves along keeping interest and the virtual pages of a Kindle turning. Cassandra from The Bridge is fully developed as the protagonist and her relationship with Julie, another character from the earlier book is a central feature. Together with a whole host of other characters they battle supernatural forces, some of which are associated with the ones from the earlier book. While you can read this one without having read it's predecessor, I recommend reading the other one first. If you're into fantasy, paranormal mild horror and a little romance thrown in, you will like this book. I did. *Available now for just $1....

My Very First Podcast Interview...

Image
I've been asked by a number of people recently, "Why did you get into writing?  What is the Para-Earth Series?  And how did you come up with it?" Well, to help answer those questions and others people may, have I invite you all to check out the podcast interview below, where I get to answer all those questions and many more.  And before anyone asks, "How did you get on a podcast?", I've been on Google+ for a while now, sharing my posts about writing on a regular basis.  Well one of my acquaintances on Google+, the awesome Tony Mendoza (writer/filmmaker) extended an invitation to me to be on his podcast "Life In The Hole", where he interviews authors about their work.   I invite you all to check out some of his other interviews after you've listened to this one.  Tony's a great host, and a fun person to get to know.  While your at his site, you might also want to check out his upcoming film "The Hole", a fascinating psychol...

Trying Not To Lose Your Way When Writing...

Image
Wait I'm the one writing this story!  How did I wind up here? Did you ever lose track of where the book/story you were writing was headed?  If the answer is no, then all I have to say is, "I hate you, now will you teach me your ways oh Master Jedi?" Okay, all kidding aside, this happened to me just recently, and the sad thing was I didn't even realize that I'd lost my plot until I was about third of the way through the first draft. Now, I don't know if it happened because I was writing part of a series and was trying to remember details from the previous books, or because I got too caught up in the characters (both old and new), but I still managed to lose my original plot which was quite embarrassing.  I mean I could've sworn I left on the kitchen table next to my keys, but when I went back the plot wasn't there.  Neither were my keys for that matter, but I'm going to worry about that later, first things first. Up until the point whe...

I Have A Special Holiday Gift For You All Over On My Other Blog...

Image
I had planned on releasing a special short story on Christmas Day for all my readers.  The original idea had been to make it available for FREE on Smashwords, so everyone could have something to download on their new Nooks, Kindles, I-Pads, etc.  Unfortunately, due to a heavy last minute "cram-everything-into-the-last-few-weeks-of-the-semester" by my professors at the university, I never got to do a cover and several other things that needed to be done to the story before it could go up on Smashwords. So instead, I've been releasing the story in chapters on my other blog "The Vampyre Blogs - Special Edition".   What makes this story so special is that it involves not only my vampyre character Nathaniel, but several other familiar faces from my first published novel "The Bridge".  I also set the story sixteen years in the past so as not to conflict with the events that took place in "The Bridge". I'll continue to release ...

Rainy Day Musings About My Books and School...

Image
"Okay, so where do I go next?" That's the question I've been asking myself a lot during the week-long break I had from my studies at CSUMB.  I managed to finally put the 2nd draft of "The Vampyre Blogs - Coming Home" (the new official title of my 1st vampyre novel) and am currently reading it aloud to my wife Helen.  I'm already seeing areas that definitely need more work and rewriting, but her reactions to most of the scenes have been very positive.  Plus she's also providing me with some feedback on one of the characters who she actually created.  There will be a third and possibly a fourth draft before I unleash anything on my beta-readers.  Luckily I've got time since the book isn't going to be released until next fall at the earliest. In the meantime I really want to get back to "The Door" which is the third book of mine that will feature Alex, Veronica, Cassie and Julie.  This book will wrap up most of the unanswered...

Free Read-2-Review Copies Of My 2nd Novel "The Ship"...

Image
****REVIEWS NEEDED ON SMASHWORDS**** I'm looking for honest reviews of my 2nd paranormal/mystery novel "The Ship" for my Smashwords site. Recently there's been a lot of traffic over there but no sales. Part of the problem may be the fact that there's been only one review done on the book at Smashwords. Multiple reviews spurs more sales, so if anyone is interested in doing a review there, I'm willing to supply you with a free e-copy of the book from the Smashwords site. For those not familiar with the story here's the blurb from the back cover of the book: Cassandra Elliott is a billionaire heiress, who has just come out of the closet. She's also a powerful psychic who has seen incredible and terrifying things. In fact, just two weeks ago, she and her girlfriend Julie Cloudfoot, survived a horrific battle alongside their two friends Alex Hill and Veronica Ross. They faced a being from a parallel reality where evolution took a much diff...

A Quick Update...

Image
NOTE: I already shared this post on "The Vampyre Blogs - Private Edition", but it seemed appropriate to share here as well, since I talk about what's been going on with me for the past 2 weeks.  There will be new posts about writing shortly.  Consider this one, a quick update about me...  Hello everyone, sorry for the slow updates recently.  I had planned on another post today, but life has a way of kind of being really getting in the way sometimes.  Especially when you're going back to college.  I started attending my first university this week.  Prior to that the past few weeks have been chaotic with my wife getting a new job.  She got her Bachelors Degree last spring at the same university where I'm going now.  She studied to become a high school math teacher.  This summer had been a rough one for us for several other reasons as well, including her taking special summer courses for her credential to be come a teacher. ...

I'm Looking For A Few Honest Reviews....

Image
I'm looking for honest reviews for my new paranormal/mystery novel "THE SHIP".  So far I've had 4 reviews on Amazon (all of them 5 star ratings), but I've only had one on Smashwords and over at Goodreads.com.  I really would like to see more, since most prospective readers like to see what others are saying about a new book. So, in order to get them I'm offering 5 free E-Book copies through Smashwords. You'll be able to get your copy via a coupon I code I will be supplying any volunteers with.   For those who are not completely familiar with Smashwords, they have the following e-book formats avialable: (Nook, Kindle, Apple, Sony, and PDF). 5 More Stars For My First Book "THE BRIDGE"...

Image
Well, well, well... Another review for my 1st book "THE BRIDGE" has appeared and it's a 5-STAR one. Woo-hoo! Let's hope this is the start of something really good folks... 5.0 out of 5 stars delightful, May 29, 2014 By Stacey Lettich -  See all my reviews This review is from: The Bridge: Something waits (Para-Earth Series) (Paperback) A great book and relatively easy read. It took me 2 or 3 chapters to get into the story but once I was hooked I never looked back. The characters are dynamic and I found myself fully invested in the story line. Looking forward to reading Allan Krummenacker's next book. http://www.amazon.com/Bridge-Para-Earth-Allan-Krummenacker-ebook/dp/B00B86DR9G/ref=la_B00B1W8TEU_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1401895821&sr=1-1 *Also available for Nook at: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/s/allan-krummenacker?store=allproducts&keyword=allan+krummenacker

Interest In My First Novel "THE BRIDGE" Is Increasing...

Image
All right fellow writers, here's some food for thought.... I was told in the past that as you got more books out, your earlier titles people might develop an interest in your earlier titles. This seems to be the case as I've been seeing some new activity on "THE BRIDGE". Not a lot of purchases, but more than I've seen in a while. There are also new reviews being posted on Amazon. Here's one of them... 4.0 out of 5 stars First indie book I read, The Bridge., May 30, 2014 By Kees Bijker - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: The Bridge (Para-Earth Series) (Kindle Edition) This was my first book I read by an indie author. I met Allan a year ago on LinkedIn and, both being budding writers, we shared ideas and situations to do with writing. I was given the opportunity to read his book and took it. It is my opinion that the story line is strong and very convincing. The book has a great deal ...

New 5-Star Review For "THE SHIP"....

Image
5.0 out of 5 stars   What an excellent paranormal story!   May 16, 2014 By   Raani York "The Ship" is another paranormal novel out of Allan Krummenacker's gifted feather. This time there are two protagonists. There is Cassandra Elliott for once, the "boring heiress" of an enormous fortune and a very talented psychic. And as well there is Juianna Cloudfoot Cassandras friend – and lover. This time, Cassandra seems to be the victim of something huge – and terrible that tries to seek and destroy her… When Cassie and Julie and Julie's family start fighting that "thing" they find out, it's far more intense, more secretive – and more "evil" that they would ever have thought… Within the story you will find some people from Allan Krummenacker's book "The Bridge". But the story stands for itself and there's nothing to fear that the first book "must" have been read, even though I promise, this book ...

"THE SHIP" Earned Another 5-Star Review Over On Amazon...

Image
5.0 out of 5 stars   Fast paced, well plotted read   May 26, 2014 By   Caroline D. Henry Verified Purchase I just read The Ship straight through after reading it in bits and pieces during the months in which Allan was writing and revising it. It was such a pleasure to read as an exciting tale and find myself drawn into it even though I knew in advance how it would all turn out. The author needs to keep writing, because I (and others) want to follow whatever is next in store for the intriguing characters we have met in The Ship and its predecessor The Bridge. To find a format that fits your e-reader or to order a signed paperback copy click on the link below.  There you will find links to whatever style you want along with news about upcoming books in the Para-Earth Series: http://allankrummenacker.wix.com/allan-krummenacker
